At heart, I'm a cook with a vision to teach people to cook from scratch. I work as a barista at a little micro-roaster in Seattle, a job that I enjoy a lot.
This is what I look like cutting a tomato.
I currently lead a community kitchen on the third Thursday of every month at the Pike Market Senior Center. We cook a few simple dishes from scratch together from 4:30pm to about 6:30pm. For a donation of $10, you get food to take home as well as recipes and follow-up support. I would like to do more of this kind of thing.
